I for one am waiting with bated breath for this webinar. Not in spite of you being the presenter—*because* you’re the presenter! I’m prepared to learn a lot, and it’s perfect timing for me. Thank you, and go Rebecca!

Just listened to the replay of your talk on Craft Talks (I was travelling during the time of the webinar). Holy Crap, woman, you were amazing. I am now inspired to try pitching commercial pubs. Before I thought only literary. Thanks so much! Can't wait for more from you.

ALSO: beautiful essay on Huff Post. My husband is a third culture kid who came to the US from the Czech Republic. Another friend is a third culture kid from Iraq. I’m so sorry for the loss of your childhood friend. Thank you for this piece.

I’m so glad you shared this. I’ve been feeling similarly and frustrated about it to the point that I’m getting in my own way. It’s time to tell more of my stories too 🥹 thank you and congratulations on your newest placement!

Yes! I agree, I agree, I agree. I’m looking so forward to this class that I’ve changed a haircut appointment! Like Heather says in your piece, it’s really valuable to hear from other people who changed course - rather than only from “insiders,” regardless if you’ve published 3 or 30 pieces. I also really like what Tara Mohr has to say in her book Playing Big. Not the main show of that book, but one thing I return to over and over again is the importance of “cross-trainers.” Sometimes it’s not someone with the longest history and the typical training who moves a field forward. Sometimes - often, I’d say - it’s when someone brings an unexpected perspective that things get genuinely interesting.

Congratulations on the essay being published. 💖🙌
